Learn a thing or two while scrolling

I’m a big believer in staying connected to things we learn in the classroom in our every day lives. I think it is so much easier to understand concepts when I see it contextualized or even portrayed in a comedic way, whether it be through memes or reels. I know it sounds dumb, but So, I wanted to share with you guys some of my favorite outlets to explore this side of math and economics:

  • Instagram: @mathinity (super duper cool, things in math you never learn inside the classroom), @econ_comics @unofficiallyecon @econdiscuss @scalarlearning

  • Tik Tok: @mathandcobb @thevideopill @askaneconomist @PlanetMoney @kaburbank @econchrisclarke @worldeconomicforum @wallacestem

@saidlikesmath on Instagram

As you can see, this account is very visually appealing and explains the WHY behind many of the things we learn in school. Questions like “why do we do it this way?” and “what is the meaning behind x rule?” are answered through colorful graphics.
